Price Forbes Re appoints Erik Matson as Senior Advisor
Price Forbes Re announces that Erik Matson has been appointed to the role of Senior Advisor.
In his new role, Matson will draw on his carrier experience to support Price Forbes Re. His perspective gained from evaluating program structures, MGA partnerships and reinsurance capacity will provide an invaluable resource to the team as it works to strengthen its position in the US market.
Matson is a well-regarded figure in the reinsurance market and brings 35 years of experience to his new role. He is the founder of Bridgehaven Europe as well as Transverse Insurance Group, where he is credited with creating the term “hybrid-front”. Prior to founding Transverse, he held executive roles with AIG, Munich Re and WTC (Gen Cap), building expertise in underwriting operations, program structures and reinsurance partnerships. He also brings a military leadership background, which has shaped a disciplined approach to risk assessment, strategic planning and structured decision-making throughout his career.
