Our Role in Supporting Claims
The Price Forbes Re Claims team exists to advocate for our clients and manage reinsurance claims throughout their full lifecycle. We provide experienced, hands‑on support from initial notification through to collection and settlement, ensuring claims are handled accurately, efficiently and with appropriate market engagement.
Our approach is underpinned by:

- Close coordination with broking, accounting (IBA) and client teams
- A focus on timely outcomes and value preservation
Who We Are
The Price Forbes Re Claims team is a specialist, London‑based function with more than 150 years of combined reinsurance claims experience.
We handle all classes of reinsurance claims, including:
- Facultative reinsurance (FAC)
- Excess of Loss (XOL) programmes
- Reinsurance and delegated authority binders
The breadth of experience across the team enables us to address complex, technical and non‑standard claims scenarios, supported by strong system knowledge and established London Market relationships. We work collaboratively with clients, reinsurers and internal colleagues to deliver practical solutions to claims issues as they arise.
What We Do
Reinsurance Claims Advocacy & Management
Our core service is active claims advocacy and cradle‑to‑grave management of reinsurance claims, delivered on behalf of our clients.
This includes:
- Notification, presentation and progression of reinsurance claims
- Identification and resolution of complex reinsurance issues
- Review of coverage, structure and contractual recoveries
- Ongoing dialogue with reinsurers and market representatives
- Close liaison with clients, broking teams and IBA to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Management of claims through to agreement, settlement and collection
- Support in resolving delayed, disputed or technically challenging claims
We also place strong emphasis on continuous improvement, including:
- Development of internal claims processes and systems
- Consistent claims standards across regions and teams
- In‑team training and mentoring, drawing on the depth of experience within the claims function

The Price Forbes Re Claims team is headquartered in London. From London, we support Price Forbes Re teams and clients across Europe, Bermuda, the United States, and beyond.
